When I finished my photo story I know that I felt that it was very easy to accomplish and something that I was excited to share with others. Now that I have had some practice creating a photo story I think that I will be able to improve the next one that I do. I thought that watching everyone's photo stories in the classroom was a great experience to see and learn about all the different videos that people put together. I learned that it is important to make sure that the voice is loud enough over the music that has been put on the video as well as for the video to capture the attention of the video.

ReplyDeleteI definitely agree that photostory has many uses in the classroom and can be a great teaching tool for teachers. I wish I was able to use something like this when I was in elementary, middle, and high school because i've always been the type of person who learns and works best with these types of activities.
I was also really surprised at how easy it was to create a photostory. I'm really bad with technology to begin with, but the tool was extremely user friendly and easy to figure out.
You did an awesome job on your photostory :) Im sure your next one will make it to the big screen!
First, I totally agree with Lauren that your next photostory will make it to the big screen. However, make it about summer! I got cold watching yours remembering the blizzard.
ReplyDeleteI also agree that photostory has many uses in the classroom, and can be a great resource for teachers. I think your example, of using one to introduce something to students would be a great tool. I'm still thinking about how it could be super effective for students? When to use it, and when it would be the wrong medium for an assignment.
I too, learned a lot about the program. Like you, I used iMovie, and it was my second attempt at the program. I had tried once before, but didn't allow myself enough time to play with it to learn; and so i gave up. Without your tip of having all my pictures in iPhoto, I don't think I would have ever completed the project. Thank you! :)
